Fuzzy Logic Heads to: Block Island, CT

This is the second posting in the Fuzzy Logic series.

The next day, we boarded the ferry to Block Island, which is part of the state of Rhode Island.

During the ferry ride, Scoopy and Inky enjoyed water games alongside the boat (just the two of them). A shipmate took this picture right before the two happily hopped overboard.

As for me, I stayed dry, and eagerly awaited their arrival at nearby First Beach.

Scoopy said we simply HAD to see the Southeast Lighthouse, and so we did.

Inky said he found a nice strip of coastline with pebbles for us to play with, and so we did that too.

Thank goodness for Inky's many arms! With them, we were able to build a very tall tower!

Later, we came upon the meditation session of a baby seal. We were very curious about this, but did not want to interrupt his concentration.

Scoopy then discovered Block Island's North Lighthouse. There I tried to catch a quick nap. Unfortunately, it was too bright and prickly for me.

Then, Scoopy tried to scare me with some leftovers from his recent catch! But, coming from Australia, even this impressive fellow couldn't scare me.

In NY, Julie taught me how to ride a bike. So I taught Scoopy and Inky! We three zoomed all across the island on our fine metal horses!

Back at Port Judith, we visited yet another lighthouse. I tried to look happy in this picture but I guess I was becoming a little tired...

Fortunately, it was time after that to buy some key provisions. (This is always exciting for an Aussie!)

After this adventurous day, we could hardly stay awake in our cozy sleep sack. Scoopy fell asleep first -- then Inky, then me -- to sweet Block Island dreams.
